How to order a book or tape

Go to the Books & Tapes section of the site. When you see an item you wish to order, simply click on it and you will be taken to the LifeSkills Retail Store. Once you’re there, simply follow the directions on the screen.

 

   
   

Shipping Information Within the US

(Includes APO/FPO and Puerto Rico)

LifeSkills ships all order within the US (includes APO/FPO and Puerto Rico) via US Postal Priority 2nd Day Mail. The shipping and handling rates are as follows:

Returns Policy

Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return any book or tape that is in its original condition. The easiest way to do this is as follows:

  1. Place the items you want to return into the box in which it shipped.
  2. Be sure to include the packing material so it arrives in good condition.
  3. Take the package to the nearest post-office and tell the clerk that you want to refuse the package.
  4. They will take the package and ship it back to us at no charge to you.

If you do not have the original box and packing material you will need to repackage the items you wish to return and ship it via US Parcel Post to:

What if I don’t want to order over the Internet?

Ordering over the Internet using a VISA® or MasterCard® credit card is just as safe as making a purchase at your local store or restaurant. However, if you wish to order via standard mail you may do so.

You will need to send both an order form and payment. However there is one important problem to keep in mind if you live in Canada. When a Canadian check is deposited into a US account there is a collection fee from both the Canadian bank and the US bank. The fee at our end is often more than we make on the item we are selling. The fee is on your end would also be high. This fee is made on checks regardless of whether they are in US or Canadian dollars. The only exception is if the check has a code on it indicating that the bank has a branch in the US where it can be processed. This is usually a number such as 24-22/1230 somewhere near the top. All of this makes it too expensive for a small business like us to redeem a Canadian check.

Fortunately, there is an easy solution to this problem, you can obtain a Canadian Postal Money order in US dollars that we can redeem for no fee. Please either use a Canadian Postal Money Order OR a check that you know has a US branch when ordering.

How does LifeSkills protect customer information?

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We only use information provided on orders to fulfill them. It is not sold or given to any other company or organization. The following provides more details about our privacy policy.

What information do we collect? How do we use it?

When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number, and expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of any delays that may occur due to items being back ordered.

What about “cookies”?

“Cookies” are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Our site does not use cookies.

Will LifeSkills disclose the information it collects to outside parties?

LifeSkills does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.
