Downloadable Handouts in PDF Format

This area of the site offers a variety of files in PDF format (Portable Document Format). PDF files can be used regardless of what type of operating system or word processor you use. Each file is a worksheet that has been used in one of Mr. Peurifoy’s classes.The PDF files work best if you first download them to your computer, then open them. To download the file to your computer:

1. Right Click on the file you want to download
2. Select "Save Target As"
3. Select the folder on your computer in which you want to store the file

If you have never worked with PDF files, you need to install a PDF reader on your computer. Click on this link to download a free PDF reader. Look for the area titled Readers. Then go to the line labeled Acrobat Readers and select the operating system you are currently using on your computer. If you have a dial up modem, the download will probably take about 45 minutes. Once you've installed the reader, the reader should load and open the the PDF file automatically when you click on it.

You can also print out the pages with all the formatting in tact. Feel free to pass these worksheets along to others who might be interested in them or use them in classes you may teach. However, do keep in mind the material is copyrighted. This means it cannot be used for commercial purposes where money is exchanged.
